The Film & The Work

The Chronology of Water is Kristen Stewart’s directorial debut, a narrative-driven film that premiered to significant critical attention and cultural buzz. I supported the film’s release as Social Media Strategist, leading platform strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook during the festival and release window.

My work focused on translating the film’s tone, themes, and critical reception into a cohesive social presence that felt intentional, cinematic, and audience-aware; all while driving meaningful engagement at scale.

Growth & Results

Through an organic, narrative-driven social strategy, the film’s social presence grew from roughly 100 followers to over 6,000 in five months. Growth was driven by our original content, strategic collaboration with aligned accounts to expand visibility without compromising the integrity of the feed, and consistent, high-touch audience engagement.

During the opening month, the campaign generated 5.3 million page views, with awareness continuing to build beyond release. Content routinely reached hundreds to thousands of likes, tens of thousands of views, and sustained comment activity, with the top-performing reel reaching 1.3 million views; a collaborative post with @SFFilm. Internally, I also contributed to improved workflows and evolving content databases at The Forge, supporting efficiency and increasing scale amid multiple external variables. Beyond metrics, the project resulted in strong, lasting working relationships with the internal team and collaborators across the entertainment industry.
